Lunch With Charles (2001)

Lunch with Charles (2001) is like the Canadian version of a screwball comedy. It stars Sean Lau as a struggling musician in Hong Kong who's afraid to join his career-minded wife, Teresa Lee, in Canada. When he finally makes it over to the Great White North he can't seem to connect with his woman, even when they end up in the same small-town bed and breakfast. The house is run by frustrated budding Buddhist Nicholas Lea, who gave up his career to be with his hippie girlfriend, Bif Naked. The four end up in a love triangle, well, love square is more mathematically correct. Meanwhile, Bif lives up to her name and goes completely naked, which makes this lunch with Charles worth keeping.
