La vouivre (1989)

A veteran is ensnared by a supernatural seductress in La vouvire (1989). 19-year-old Arsene (Lambert Wilson) is severely wounded when he returns from fighting in WWI, but he's one of the lucky ones: most of the men in his village are dead. Arsene has his pick of the many pretty young widows in town, but he's not interested in any of them. Instead, he fascinated with a mysterious woman (Laurence Triel) who lives in the woods and swims naked in a pool full of vipers. The villagers say she's a witch, but Arsene sleeps with her anyway. And when you get an eyeful of Laurence strolling the shore wearing nothing but a smile, you'll understand completely. Things don't turn out so well for ol' Arsene, but for Mr. Skin La vouivre is tres magnifique!
