Sometime along the way Carmen falls in with the wrong crowd, and the movie First Name: Carmen (1983) tells a story about her and the terrorist gang she’s a part of robbing a bank. The problem for the rest of the gang is that, unbeknownst to them, Carmen’s fallen in love with the police officer assigned to guard the bank, and now she’s acting as a double agent, leading the gang into a trap. Jean-Luc Godard intercuts the many scenes of Carmen’s nudity with an orchestra practicing a symphony. We get everything multiple times from lead actress Maruschkia Detmers, boobs, bush, and butt. Many of the scenes involve her and her dude getting ready to bang, and some are just of him removing her clothes while he smokes so we all get a little something to look at from time to time. Leave it to Jean-Luc to keep arthouse movies fresh and fleshy!
