Peril (1985)

Ever since filmmakers began cranking out movies, audiences have witnessed plenty of perils — from The Perils of Pauline (1914) to Perils in Nude Modeling (2003) and Sharpe’s Peril (2008) with The Sex Perils of Paulette (1965), The Perils of Mandy (1980), The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (1985), and Living in Peril (1997) in between. Of course, we must add Peril (1985) to this list. Also known as Death in a French Garden and Péril en la demeure, the French flick is a fast-paced murder mystery from writer/director Michel Deville. The story begins when guitar teacher David Aurphet (Christophe Malavoy) is hired to show heiress Viviane Tombsthay (Nicole Garcia) how to play. Despite being a teen, she — like neighbor Edwige Ledieu (Anémone) — comes on to him. Yet it’s Viviane’s mother Julia (Nicole Garcia) who successfully seduces the instructor even though she’s married to the rich and powerful Graham Tombsthay (Michel Piccoli). But when David is mugged by a friendly hitman (Richard Bohringer), videos and a bunch of other twists and turns surface. Along the way, Anémone flashes her beautiful buns. No doubt, she adds thrills to this thriller! Not to be upstaged, blonde babe Viviane reveals her back, rack and rump while riding a guy in bed. If that’s not hot enough, she later bares her breasts, bush and bum. While the complex plot keeps you on the edge of your seat, Ms. Garcia will keep your willy at the top of your jeans!
