Joyride (1977)

What do Melanie Griffith, Desi Arnaz Jr., Robert Carradine, and Anne Lockhart have in common? They all have famous parents! Mel’s mom is Tippi Hedren; Desi’s folks are Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz; Robert’s dad is John Carradine; and Anne’s mother is June Lockhart. These second generation players have another thing in common: they’re all in the movie Joyride (1977). No doubt, they thought it would be their vehicle to fame. Not to be confused with the drama Joyride (1997) or the comedy Joy Ride (2023), this R-rated road movie follows a group of friends who leave California to find careers in Alaska’s fishing industry. Unfortunately, they fail to catch a break to obtain their dreams. But, at least, they have some fun along the way. Just 5 minutes into the pic, Suzie (Griffith) bares her chest while having sex with John (Carradine) in the backseat of his car. Later, the blonde beauty flashes her nude booty to other drivers on the highway. If that’s not hot enough, Melanie serves up her melon-ies when she gets a little “lucy” in the shower with Desi. We’re guessing there’s gonna have to be some ’splainin’ to do! Not to be outdone, Cindy (Lockhart) also reveals her rack while macking with Arnaz in the kitchen. Breast of all, the frolicking foursome shed their threads when they head for the jacuzzi. While splashing around, topless Anne sucks on a long cylindrical object (relax, it’s a cigar) and Melanie jiggles her jugs. Mom would be so proud!
