When Elena Cruz (Yesenia Ayala) was a child, her criminal father got caught stealing from his boss Maeve (Heather McComb), who then killed both his wife and son, Elena’s mother and brother, in retribution. As Elena grows up, she formulates a plan to avenge her family, eventually robbing a bodega to get herself arrested and thrown in the same jail Maeve is in, but she has to act fast before her target is released early for good behavior.
