Seemingly set a couple of forests over from Conan the Barbarian’s turf, the woman-warrior epic Hundra (1983) stars Laurene Landon in the titular role of an Amazonian who’s not interested in any guy’s sword or sorcery. In fact, she’s been raised by a tribe of women that despises all men. She gets to work out that anger, too, after a bunch of cretins slaughter her family. This film plays out like a particularly bawdy episode of Xena as Lauren and her pals hack, slash, and smother the opposition--and if you’re looking to be smothered, this is definitely the way to go!
