Wolves run in packs and so do sequels for this classic werewolf franchise. Howling V: The Rebirth (1989) takes place in a Romanian castle that has been sealed for 500 years. A group of kids and a werewolf are its sole inhabitants, and what follows is a supernatural take on Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians. But before everybody dies, some of the more comely members of the group give viewers something to howl about. Elizabeth Shé plays the airhead of the bunch, and when she goes for a naked dip her butt is so bubblicious it floats right off the screen and into your lap. Mary Stavin has a drier take on nudity, as she admires her small wonders in the mirror while being peeped on. In this rebirth of the Howling series, things are maturing quite nicely.
