Six years after the original Fortress (1993), Christopher Lambert reprises his role for the thrilling sci-fi sequel Fortress 2 (1999). Lambert’s John Henry Brennick has been nabbed once again by the evil Men-Tel Corporation and held in a confining intergalactic prison 26,000 miles above the surface of the earth. You’d think that this sci-fi Alcatraz might be enough to make Brennick toss up his hands, but in a desperate bid to be reunited with his family back on Earth the resourceful Highlander veteran makes a desperate bid for freedom. The truth of the matter is, however, that life’s not so bad in space jail--when Liz May Brice is using the next shower over, you know you’re being rewarded for good behavior.
