Fire in the Soul (2002)

Fire in the Soul (2002) is a moving and passionate film told in three parts and concerning three different couples and the direction their lives take leading up to the events that occurred on September 11, 2001. The main vignette revolves around a minor-league baseball player, married to a beautiful young woman, who must decide what to do when he is offered a coaching position instead of a playing position. This is an intense, melodramatic film livened up by a brief glimpse of Luisa de los Ríos’s righteous rosebuds.
