Fallen Angels (1995)

Fallen Angels (1995) is a Hong Kong crime movie by the legendary writer and director Kar-Wai Wong. A hired killer does his last hit job, but before he decides to do this last job he wants to also say goodbye to his emotionally detached partner whom he has feelings for. He thinks that it is too dangerous to actually date a colleague, so he tries to find other things to funnel his affections into it so that he can replace his feelings for her. Ultimately, that is really hard to do, so he wants to leave the business. Of course, that winds up being much messier than he intended. When he goes out one night in Hony Kong, he meets a woman who is looking for her ex-boyfriend who up and left one day as well as a mute man who is trying to express himself to the outside world in other ways. These paths meet and lives are forever changed in this classic 90s film. While this movie is rather dark and grungey (a purposeful choice from the director after the bright colors of his previous hit film, Chungking Express), we do get some sunshine in the form of Michelle Reis who smokes and cries in her dress with her legs showing. Her dress is pulled up, so we get to see her stockings and garters that really showcase her long and beautiful legs. Did it hurt when Michelle Reis fell from Heaven? Because this gorgeous gal is clearly a Fallen Angel!
