Butterflies are Free (1999)

No Nudity

Review

Butterflies are Free (1999) was a Chinese stage version of the famous Broadway play, itself adapted into an Oscar winning film starring Goldie Hawn in 1972. The show tells the story of a blind man living in a big city with his mother, who disapproves of a relationship that the man starts with a free spirited hippie girl (Perry Chiu Woon). The show only ran for two performances in the Huanghuagang Theatre in Gunagzhou and was directed by famous Hong Kong director Clifton Ko. Being a free spirited hippie required Perry Chiu Woon to appear in her underwear for long stretches of time, which allows us to see some nice shots of her cleavage and even the occasional stray butt cheek when she bends over to get something out of the fridge. No nudity though, this was China, but it's enough for you to set your butterflies free! And by that, we mean your dong!
