Eye for an Eye (1996)

Sally Field is blind with rage in Eye for an Eye (1996), John Schlesinger's tale of a revenge plot that's served up piping hot and peppered with vigilante justice. After Sally's teener daughter is assaulted and murdered by Kiefer Sutherland, she sinks into sorrow and then tries on some paranoia for size. Wouldn't you know it, it fits her well: She likes it! She really likes it! And it's not long before she's gone full-on Charles Bronson with her newfound wrath, stalking Keifer and planning to put the kibosh on his plans to kill again. This doesn't sit well with hubby Ed Harris, who just wants to get on with things the best he can. Sally doesn't care, though; she won't stop until Kiefer meets the Grim Reaper.
