In Easy Sex (2003), a washed-up English professor finds love and loses it at the unlikeliest of locations--a conference on Milton in glitzy and sinful Las Vegas. Julian Sands plays rumpled academic Packard Schmidt, an egghead who can’t manage to stay away from the sexy co-eds who populate his dry and boring classes. At a literary convention in Nevada, Schmidt falls head over heels for the call-girl daughter of one of his colleagues (Katharine Towne), and cashes his meager paycheck to indulge in rolls in the hay with the out-of-his-league blonde. Chris Iovenko’s stylish indie boasts contributions from John Savage and Jim Belushi (as an Elvis-impersonating cab driver), but it’s Towne whom you’ll remember long after the credits roll. Although the curvy blonde makes use of a body double, her scenes are still worth a good long look.
