If you never thought you'd see an adaptation of an Anton Chekov play, well, never say never. The Sisters (2005) is a thoughtful modern update on the classic theater work. Elizabeth Banks, Erika Christensen, and Maria Bello play the three sisters of the title who are dealing with the death of their father. It's a heart-wrenching view of lives shattered and reconciled that will move audiences emotionally as well as physically. The latter response may be a bit base, but how else can one explain the stirrings felt after seeing Elizabeth in a pair of cheeky panties and Maria getting naked with her loved one? Viewers are recommended to get naked with their loved one while watching this, even if that loved one is only them.
