In the modern B-movie Dog Watch (1996), a San Francisco police detective flips out on his partner’s murderer and spends the remainder of the film trying to cover up the crime. Sam Elliott stars as Charlie Falon, an intrepid Bay Area cop who arrives seconds too late to save his partner’s life. Flying into a rage, the detective pulls a Dirty Harry and pummels the cop killer to death. After hiding the body, he’s assigned a new partner (Esai Morales) and told to get to work solving the killing. What do you do when you’re a wanted man working on your own case? Head to a strip club! That’s what Falon does, anyway, as he heads off in search of flesh flashes from the beautiful Mimi Craven and Jessica Steen.
