Desert Blue (1999)

In the road movie Desert Blue (1998), Lance Davidson (John Heard), a scholar of pop culture writing a book on tourist traps and roadside attractions, takes his spoiled teenage TV-star daughter Skye (Kate Hudson) with him to visit the small town whose claim to fame is the tallest ice-cream cone in America. But when a cola truck explodes on the highway and strands them in the town, Skye and the prof must interact with the locals, including Casey Affleck, Christina Ricci, and Sara Gilbert. There’s no skin in this one, but you can make out the shapes of some pointy little ice-cream cones under Kate’s top as she lies down in a shirt with no bra underneath. Now that’s a roadside attraction.
