Stephen Shellen (Spring Fever, Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde) stars as Lieutenant Nick Gentry in the nifty little thriller Deceptions II: Edge of Deception (1995). He's been lonely and torn up since the death of his partner. Not even Mariel Hemingway (Personal Best, Star 80) as gorgeous reporter Joan Branson can get Nick to return among the living. But then he falls hard for his neighbor Irene Stadler, beautifully embodied by Jennifer Rubin (Bitter Harvest; A Woman, Her Men and Her Futon). It's too bad, because Irene is married to a creep who beats her up. But maybe that's okay, as it finally motivates Nick to take a new stand. Jennifer's topless rubinoos will get part of you standing at attention as well.
