Dead Simple (2001)

Dead Simple (2000), or Viva Las Nowhere, is a black comedy filmed in Alberta, Canada, known more for it’s white comedy, or that may just be snow. It stars Daniel Stern as a henpecked motel owner/country singer wannabe. James Cann plays a despicable singer/scoundrel. That’s a lot of slashes. There’s also Lacey Kohl as Caan’s wife, who passes out on stage during an open-mike night. Caan dumps her by the side of the road and returns to the bar to pick up Carrie Schiffler, another performer. We can’t blame him as Carrie has nice tits, which she displays for the camera in a lengthy scene with Caan. But Lacey her ass, so it’s up to you which you like most.
