Cock & Bull Story (2003)

An up-and-coming New Jersey-bred prize fighter struggles with his ambiguous sexual identity in the testosterone-fueled fight film Cock & Bull Story (2003). Billy Hayes’s film follows working-class mug Travis (Bret Roberts), a quick-fisted boxer who spends so much time with his effeminate buddy Jacko (Brian Austin Green) that it begins to jeopardize his hard-nosed reputation. When push comes to shove, Travis’s trainer (Greg Mullavy) and girlfriend (Wendy Fowler) want answers about whether Jacko’s got a hand in their boy’s gym shorts. Fowler keeps Roberts’s film from being limited to a bunch of cock and bull--the slender, ravishing brunette is a first-round knockout in her role as the gay boxer’s beard.
