The popular genre of biker flicks gets a new perspective, from the bitch seat, as Barbara Peters directs and writes Bury Me an Angel (1971). All the elements remain the same, but this time the shotgun-toting, revenge-seeking hero is a heroine, and all the better for it, as she’s played by Dixie Peabody. While avenging the death of her brother she only shows her body once in a nude swim scene, and it’s no pea body.
