Mandingo (1975)

A legendary work of exploitation, that might be the flag bearer for films you couldn't make today, Mandingo (1975) is a dark, but sex filled flick about life on a Louisiana Plantation before America ended slavery. Warren Maxwell (James Mason) runs the plantation Falconhurst, but prefers to bang all the female slaves instead of overseeing their work. His son Hammond (Perry King) has the hots for the young slave Ellen (Brenda Sykes), and often does what he pleases with her. That doesn't sit well with his wife Blanche (Susan George), who is jealous of how much more Hammond likes the slave woman than his white wife. Seeking revenge, she starts shacking up with Mede (Ken Norton), an incredibly strong slave that Hammond likes to both make fight for prizes, and mate with other slaves to produce extremely fit workers. Blanche winds up pregnant, and the whole time she is in labor, she knows it's thanks to the unpaid labor of Mede. Unable to do anything about it, Blanche pops out a half black baby and all Hell breaks loose. Suddenly, it's up to Mede, the Mandingo Slave, to lead a revolt before the white slave masters start slaughtering everyone. In fairness, the former Heavyweight Champion of the World known as "Black Hercules" back in his boxing days, Ken Norton, might have the best body in the movie. But other than him, it's rather absurd that Hammond had the choice between Brenda Sykes and Susan George. Miss George will make you engorge when she shows her tatas while she's in bed, taking Mede's seed, while Brenda Sykes flashes titty and kitty as she bedwenches for young Hammond. Free the titties! Then free the slaves. Laura Misch Owens' XL rack and bush of dark black, pop up all too briefly, as she blows a naked kiss to a dandy of a dude, fully nude. Debbi Morgan shows her big black breasts while lying in bed topless, while it's Reda Wyatt who's mams are the largest. We watch her get bathed by two not so hot slaves, as they try to give her some advice. Hop out of the tub and try to find Harriet Tubman, would be ours. A favorite of Quentin Tarantino that's pretty wild to watch these days, there's more than enough nudity for every man's ding dong in Mandingo!
