Boogeyman (2005)

Being a kid is a spooky experience. Most adults outgrow that phase of imaginative fancy where every lengthening twilight shadow is transformed into the encroaching embrace of a dark, amorphous monster. For those few young men and women who have failed to dispel the monsters that dwelt beneath their childhood beds, proactive therapy may be indicated. The twitchy, doubt-plagued protagonist of Boogeyman: Special Edition (2005) has never fully awakened from the disturbing nightmares of his pre-adolescence.
