What man wouldn’t want to get caught in a Boobie Trap (2001)? This and other deep questions are posed by director Herb Henderson in his low-budget indie mystery. Randy Byars stars as a cynical P.I. who’s hired to make inquiries into the bloody murder of a busty stripper. All signs point to sassy hooker Clara (Melissa Wolf) as the culprit, but the fact that the prostitute’s being shadowed by a knife-wielding maniac means that Byars’s case is a bit more confusing than it first appears. The detective’s various missteps land him in messy waters with Wolf and co-star Starr, but it’s certainly no hassle getting smothered in either woman’s boobie trap.
