People get pretty attached to their electronic devices these days, almost to the point of freaking out when their smart phone breaks down. In this near-future Sci-fi drama, we follow a family whose Artificial Intelligence helper, Yang (Justin H. Min), suddenly breaks down and is seemingly beyond repair. We learn that this future world of AI helpers becoming basically live-in robots who are indistinguishable from real family members at times. So when Yang begins to malfunction, it affects the whole family, including their young daughter and Kyra (Jodie Turner-Smith) and Jake (Colin Farrell) have grown quite distant from each other by leaning on Yang to be their go-between. The family struggles to come to grips with life After Yang and what happens when loss and grief hit each family member different. Jodie Turner-Smith shines as the matriarch of the future fam and while he movie is PG, we get to see her in her bra a bit as well as showing pokies in the family portrait.
