A suicidal writer and a nurse with a double life have a tragic affair peppered with plenty of hot sex in the tres European art house drama After Fall, Winter (2011). Michael (Eric Schaffer) is a writer who has lost the will to live after a severe downturn in his career. Searching for meaning, he moves to Paris, where he finds solace in the arms of hospice nurse Sophie (Lizzie Brocheré). Their physical relationship quickly turns intense as Michael explores his interest in S&M, not knowing the whole time that Sophie is an old pro. (No, really-- she's a dominatrix.)
