Mood Indigo (2014)

Artsy director Michel Gondry’s surreal romantic drama Mood Indigo (2013) follows Colin (Romain Duris), a wealthy, Parisian bachelor who has a taste for the eccentric, as showcased by his invention of the “pianococktail”, a piano that doubles as a cocktail maker. Besides developing a piano that dispenses alcohol, the odd dude also enjoys eating extravagant dishes prepared by his loyal chef Nicolas (Omar Sy). But life quickly  changes for Colin when he finds out that his best bud Chick (Gad Elmaleh) snags himself a new American girlfriend. Serving as a wake-up call, Colin goes off to a party in hopes of finding himself a lover. It’s only a matter of time before the lovelorn dude meets up with Chloé (Audrey Tautou) and the two get lost in a thrilling romance. But the whimsical couple soon faces a bizarre roadblock in their budding relationship when Chloé is stricken with an unusual ailment that causes a flower to grow in her lungs. Driven by his inventive mind and love for Chloé, Colin eventually discovers that to save her he must surround her with an endless supply of fresh flowers. It’s like fighting flowers with flowers! Though the whimsical film is full of more quirkiness than nudity, Joana Morais teases her right boob and Laura Cieplik teases her left while sitting in the backseat of a display car. Audrey Tautou’s see-through bra allows us a look at her nips. She even explores her lesbian side by swapping kisses with Aïssa Maïga. The gals of Mood Indigo will make you grow!
