A short film from Benjamin Brewer, lead visual effects artist of the award-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once, this story was inspired by French theorist Roland Barthes’ A Lover’s Discourse (think Hedwig and the Angry Inch’s “The Origin of Love”). A couple is so hopelessly in love that they fuse together in what Brewer describes as ““the horrors of intimacy and romantic longing.” Outside of the disturbing imagery of their anamorphic combo exists a few sexy shots of star Anabelle LeMieux’s bare boobs and butt as she rides her partner, and again as they finally manage to peel themselves apart. If you’re not careful, your hand will be just as sticky!
