X/Y (2014)

X/Y (2014) refers to a group of friends living in New York City, stuck between Generations X and Y. Their sexual escapades and overlapping lives constantly intertwine with one another as they navigate the often messy world of interpersonal relationships. How can they possibly expect to find love if they can't first learn to love themselves? Isn't that the age old conundrum, though, whether or not you're stuck between Gens X & Y? How can any of us love if we don't love ourselves? Deep. It's also deeply disappointing that the film doesn't feature any nudity, despite a number of close calls! America Ferrara shows lots of cleavage while wearing a bra after having sex with Common, and at the 1:10-mark, nearly shows her breasts while lowering herself into a bath! There's also a nice shot of Melonie Diaz in just her panties, though she does manage to keep her best bits covered up! X/Y will have you pumping out some chromosomes!
