Wilde (1998)

Wilde (1997) is the biopic of the illustrious poet, playwright, and dandy prototype Oscar Wilde. The movie follows the discovery of his own homosexuality, specifically his attraction to a man named Lord Alfred Douglass, and how he has to deal with it given that he’s a married father. The Lord’s father isn’t too happy with Wilde’s obsessive nature around his son, so he takes legal action, but Wilde isn’t going to get scared off. Given that this all takes place in the very repressed Victorian era, Wilde is sent to do some hard labor by order of the court. Although thematically the movie is concerned with homosexuality, there is still some sexy content coming from Jennifer Ehle, who has a breast feeding scene and some instances of great cleavage from a great rack. It’ll drive you Wilde!
