Under Heavy Fire (2001)

The Vietnam war drama Under Heavy Fire (2001) follows rookie captain Ramsey (Casper Van Dien) who leads his men, Echo Company, into a battle that ends tragically due to friendly fire. After the smoke has cleared and the bodies are buried, people start pointing fingers at Ramsey for the deaths of his fellow soldiers due to giving incorrect bombing co-ordinates. Three decades later, television documentarian Kathleen Martin (Carrié Otis) brings the six survivors of Echo Company back to Vietnam to attempt to make peace with their former enemies, but the group can’t let go of their hatred and anger for Ramsey. While confronting their issues, the Marines are hit with a heavy dose of reality that creates more violence in the rice patties.
