True Crime (1999)

True Crime (1999) is a middling directorial effort from Clint Eastwood in which he plays a crotchety old journalist trying to exonerate an innocent man hours before he is set to be executed. He finds himself racing against time to prove the man is innocent, and also trying to stay one step ahead of his boss, who has just discovered that Eastwood is sleeping with his boss' wife (Laila Robbins). Laila Robbins turns in a fantastic performance, if for no other reason than she makes it look as though touching the skeletal remains of Eastwood's body is anything other than repulsive! Though she doesn't get nude, we do get to see her looking sexy in a slip that shows lots of cleavage, and is also short enough to ride up and give us a look at her flesh colored panties. If you can keep from barfing at the sight of a shirtless Eastwood, you'll find that True Crime does pay!
