Few actresses have been bubbling under for as long as steamy Laila Robins. Her debut was a small but vital role as Steve Martin’s wife in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), and she would’ve really broke out in Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael (1990) if anyone had gone to see the film. At least the movie industry is still appreciative of Laila, especially now that she’s showing her la-las as a sexy older woman. Live Nude Girls (1995) was a tease of a title, but The Blood Oranges (1997) has Laila shedding her clothes--and revealing her mons--in a hot tale of tropical wife-swapping. Laila’s just as sexy rolling in the sheets with Clint Eastwood as his boss’s philandering wife in True Crime (1999). And any fan of strong women will want to admire her as Adrian Brody’s kidnap victim in the kinky thriller Oxygen (1999).
