Eva Mendes was born in Miami, Florida, but she grew up in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Silver Lake with her mom after the divorce of her Cuban parents. In 2005, she starred with a list of impressive actors such as David Duchovny, Billy Crudup, Julianne Moore, and Maggie Gyllenhaal in the romantic comedy Trust The Man, playing a character the AV Club once described as a “vapid sexpot.” Sounds like our kind of movie all right! And in 2010 she yucked it up as the absolutely ridonkulously hot, successful wife of Will Ferrell’s bumbling NYPD accountant in The Other Guys. 

Eva balanced out her comedic work with some of her most skin-baring roles, including when she gave the world another lusty look at one mamnificent maraca in We Own the Night (2007), bared her beautifully bountiful booty in The Spirit (2008), and even slipped a little nip in the art-house hit Holy Motors (2012)!

It was also in 2012 that she gave what Entertainment Weekly described as a “quietly heartbreaking” performance in the thriller The Place Beyond The Pines, which also starred her partner and the future father of her children, Ryan Gosling. Both Ryan and the audience can see Eva’s perky nips peeking through her shirt as she walks through the traveling carnival where he works.
