Toni Kalem may be most recognizable for her recurring role on HBO's bad-guy series The Sopranos, but she started her acting career on a whim, appearing in an episode of the good-guy series Starsky and Hutch. She stuck to TV for a while, appearing on Another World for a few seasons, before making her big screen debut in The Wanderers (1979). After that came the campy after-school special The Boy Who Drank Too Much (1980), starring '80s überkind Scott Baio. Toni still hadn't achieved serious success at this point, having only been seen in the background of big-time flicks such as Private Benjamin (1980) and Paternity (1981). She finally had a role with some meat in Running Out (1983), but few saw it, and it looked like her career was running out of steam. It was during the lull of the early '80s that a window of opportunity opened up, which Toni skinfully exploited in Silent Rage (1982). In a bedroom tryst, she rolled around topless, showing off a most bountiful bosom. Most recently, she has appeared in 15 Minutes (2001) as "Woman at Planet Hollywood." Hopefully, this pretty brunette's fifteen minutes of fame aren't up yet.
