One of Bridgette Bardot’s later films, Les Femmes, or The Vixen (1969), is a comedy about a secretary and her boss, a novelist, and how she learns to cater to his every need. The writer is suffering from writer’s block, and not only does Bardot act as a muse for the scribner, but she dictates all his sexual excursions of the past as well as desirous hopes for the future. We’re not sure who’s seducing who in this picture as both have different types of relationships in mind – Jerome, the writer, wants a friends with benefits situation while Clara (Bardot) wants something a little more stable. Bridgette gives us a few butt shots in a couple of bedroom scenes, but little else. But Christina Holme and Anny Duperey supplement by giving us great shots of their breasts in a couple of clips. Ever since Russ Meyer’s phenomenal use of the term ‘Vixen’ in movies, stuff like this rightfully got swept under the rug.
