The Runner (2026)

Maia Marten (Gal Gadot) is a successful lawyer in London who is also a single mom to her diabetic son Noah (Rory Wilmot). After letting him walk the rest of the way to school alone so she can go on a run before work, Maia receives a phone call informing her that Noah has been kidnapped. The unnamed Caller (Damian Lewis) demands that Maia follow his instructions, which will take her through the city to Tafa (Phoenix Di Sebastiani), a witness in a major criminal case, whom she must kill in order to save her son. As an added incentive, the Caller gains access to some of Maia’s private photos, but as her face is always obscured or cut out of them, we think the sexy lingerie and bikini pics are the work of a body double and not actually Ms. Gadot.
