A supernatural being in the form of a female who visits men while they are dreaming and drains off gushing dollops of their purity is known as a succubus. There is, of course, a male counterpart to the slutty spook, and this ghostly hard-on is the title demon of The Incubus (1981). When a rural hamlet’s top beauties are being desecrated and murdered on a nightly basis, the townsfolk have a hard time accepting that the mayhem is being caused by a creature from another realm. The chief suspect in the vicious attacks is a weird guy whose grandmother runs the town library. While suspicion centers upon an innocent man, the astral perpetrator is free to continue its vicious attacks.
