Director Abel Ferrara stars as a painter pushed over the edge in the artsy slasher flick The Driller Killer (1979). As the title implies, when he loses it he kills with the aid of a power tool, which means he’s into the Jackson Pollock-type of splatter. But all work and no play make Ferrara a dull boy. And boy does he spice things up thanks to a voyeuristic nude scene featuring Carolyn Marz. It’s her sole screen credit, but thankfully it’s a skintacular one. Ferrara is known as a certifiable nut job, so let’s hope he didn’t really off the out-of-this-world beauty that is Marz. That would make Mr. Skin an angry red planet.
