The Counselor (2013)

A lawyer gets in over his head when he begins selling drugs on the side in The Counselor (2013). Directed by Ridley Scott, with a screenplay written by Cormac McCarthy, and a cast stacked with A-listers, this one's all about a Texas based lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who finds himself drawn to the other side of the law. In classic McCarthy fashion, Fassbender stars as the titular attorney known only as "The Counselor." He's a greedy lawyer with a hot girlfriend (Penelope Cruz) who persuades his drug dealing pal Reiner (Javier Bardem) to introduce him to the narcotics underworld so he can raise some quick cash for his upcoming wedding. Reiner warns him that Mexican Cartels are brutal, and that the drug smuggling game is a dangerous one, but The Counselor thinks he'll be able to stay one step ahead of his fellow drug dealers thanks to his smarts and legal background. The logic is solid, but things aren't so simple--especially with Reiner's wild bisexual girlfriend Malkina (Cameron Diaz) in the mix. She's looking to make some cash herself, and isn't all that happy about the lawyer coming into the business. Of course, things don't go according to plan and amidst lengthy discussions about the nature of good and evil, and appearances from actors like Brad Pitt, John Leguizamo and Rosie Perez, we watch as The Counselor realizes he's way over his head in a lawless world. Despite all the star power, most critics weren't huge fans of this one. And while we acknowledge Penelope and Cameron are both criminally hot acting for Mr. Scott, there really isn't much to bang your gavel to in The Counselor. Although Cameron shows us side boob 25 minutes in and appears to bare butt humping a car at the 50-minute mark, the jury's still out on whether or not it's a booty double. Objection, your honor! Penelope looks pretty busty baring cleavage as The Counselor puts a ring on it, as does the downblouse of Paris Jefferson when the waitress bends over and serves up a face full of funbag. Other than that, there's some jiggly bits of tits from a push up bra adorned Emma Rigby, but not much else. All those hotties in The Counselor and that little skin? That should be illegal!
