A Christmas Carol (2019)

Through the years, audiences have seen a bevy of babes play Mrs. Cratchit in various versions of the Charles Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol” (1843). Blonde beauty Susannah York portrayed her in the 1984 TV movie as did Saskia Reeves in 1999. The same can be said of Lesley Manville who took on the role in 2009 for Robert Zemeckis’s motion capture movie. But none of these ladies took it off to seduce Ebenezer Scrooge (Guy Pearce) like Vinette Robinson did in the small screen series A Christmas Carol (2019). Written by Steven Knight with actor Tom Hardy and director Ridley Scott, this adaptation makes Victorian England seem very dark. Judging by the bleak reviews, Hardy and Scott should remain in their lanes. Nevertheless, the 3-parter features expected characters: Jacob Marley (Stephen Graham), the Ghost of Christmas Past (Andy Serkis), the Ghost of Christmas Present (Charlotte Riley), Tiny Tim (Lenny Rush), and Bob Cratchit (Joe Alwyn). But what we didn’t expect is to see Bob’s wife (Robinson) lifting her skirt for Scrooge. We’re guessing she wanted to get her hubby a raise. Instead, Mr. Skin’s trousers were on the rise when the actress’s body double revealed her round rump! While children of all ages may weep with joy during the happy ending of this timeless tale, producers of this butt-baring version will expect grown men to shed more than tears. In other words, you’ll want to watch this seasonal saga with a box of tissues on the chance your Tiny Tim appears!
