Review
In Edinburgh, Scotland, the streets are rife with the dark side of life—from political corruption to prostitution to AIDS. In the harrowing legal drama The Advocates (1991), Ewan Stewart stars as a reporter caught up in the seedy underbelly of the dark side of the streets, with squeaky-voiced Shirley Henderson (best known as Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter flicks) as a streetwalking naïf. And speaking of “moaning”, you’ll be doing exactly that when you catch a glimpse of a very young Rachel Weisz naked in a bathtub in her very first nude scene.
