Director John Landis is known for comedies like The Blues Brothers (1980) and Trading Places (1983). It’s been a while since he’s had a hit, though, and Susan's Plan (1998) barely got released onto video. Nastassja Kinski stars as Susan, whose plan involves killing husband Adrian Paul for some insurance money. Her lover (and insurance agent) Billy Zane helps out, while Michael Biehn and Rob Schneider screw up the murder. Dan Akroyd shows up as a biker without a bike. Lara Flynn Boyle also appears as a scheming gal who’s the smartest of the bunch, although she’s not above using her fine naked bod to seduce doctor Thomas Haden Church. And while Christina Venuti is the least known of the cast, her impressive topless scene gives her a shot at stealing the movie.
