Destiny’s Child nabbed a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Survivor (2001), the second single from their third blockbuster album. The track proved such a hit that artists as diverse as Jill Sobule and Vanilla Ice ended up covering it, but nobody does it better than the curvy beauties from Houston. Beyoncé Knowles caused a bit of a stir by using Survivor to coo trash talk at former collaborators LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, but the video’s most memorable for showcasing Knowles’s curves in a lush jungle milieu.
