Destiny’s Child founder LeToya Luckett goes solo in a big way with the sizzling single She Don’t (2006). With former group-mate and current rival Beyoncé Knowles serving as a role model of sorts, Luckett gets her new career started with a track built on a classic lick from The Spinners’ “We Belong Together.” Director Chris Robinson, who lensed Luckett’s Torn video, also got the call to handle the She Don’t shoot, which chronicles a bonfire of the vanities of sorts between the singer and her real-life ex-boyfriend, Slim Thug. The stars coo back and forth about their misgivings and desires before the grand finale, which finds Luckett dancing seductively inside a futuristic glass field. The R&B superstar makes it crotch-achingly clear that she looks sensational from every angle.
