Submarino (2010)

Two brothers are haunted by a tragic incident in their past in the Danish drama Submarino (2010). When Nick (Jakob Cedergren) and his nameless brother (Peter Plaugborg) were children, they cared for their infant brother while their mother drank herself into a stupor. But before long the baby died, an event neither brother ever quite recovered from.  Now reunited as adults, Nick is and ex-con and his brother a drug addict with a young son of his own, Martin (Gustav Fischer Kjaerulff), whom Nick takes under his wing. This all sounds very depressing, but Patricia Schumann will turn your frown upside down when she unleashes her delicious Danish donuts. Periscopes up, gentlemen!
