Spring Breakers (2013)

An A24 movie from Gummo (1997) director and perpetual David Letterman troll Harmony Korine starring James Franco as a drug dealing, grill wearing Florida man, all but guarantees things are going to end up weird. The result of all that strangeness is the festival hit Spring Breakers (2013), starring Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Harmony's wife Rachel Korrine. Ashley, Vanessa, Ashley and Rachel star as college students who want to go to spring break, but don't have the money. These bad biotches aren't going to have a bake sale, they rob a restaurant and head to St. Petersburg. While there, they get arrested for doing drugs and are bailed out by sleazy drug/arms dealer Alien (James Franco), who has some very dangerous work in mind for the girls. They're going to take out his rival, but not before they have all sorts of spring break sex. Selena Gomez's character Faith is supposed to be the reluctant good girl nude, so we only get to see the former Disney star in a baby blue bikini. The other former member of the House of Mouse, Vanessa Hudgens flashes her nude butt while getting wild in a hotel room, but Rachel flashed her boobies and buns while being sad in the shower and Ashley Benson's bombs are put on display during a threeway in the pool. That might be a bit underwhelming if you grew up thinking Spring Break was like it is on Girls Gone Wild, Spring Breakers features more bikini action and suggestive popsicle sucking from these young Hollywood hotties than even Mr. Skin can handle, along with anonymous boobs from decadent party girls on the beach and at the motel. Spring truly has sprung!
