Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sherry Buchanan made a slew of films in Italy. After replacing a production secretary in Louisiana for the Italian-language film My Name is Nobody(1973) with Henry Fonda, she got the urge to act and moved to Rome, Italy, to pursue her new dream. She modeled a bit in her new country, then hit the big screen as Silvia Polvesi in the flick What Have They Done to Your Daughters? (1974). From there, she was Jennifer Milton in Sex Diary (1976), and Judy, a bikini-wearing hottie in the English-language Italian film Tentacles (1977), starring John Huston, Shelley Winters, and Henry Fonda. As Vera in The Heroin Busters (1977), the blonde babe busted out her tiny twosome for a girl-appreciates-girl scene where big breasts meet little breasts, and she showed her thick nipples again as Elise in The Last House on the Beach (1978), original title La Settima Donna. All this was just a big build-up to her full-frontal nakedness in Il Mondo porno di due sorelle (1978), a.k.a. Emanuelle and Joanna, where Sherry played the lead, Emanuellle.
