In one of the more baffling twists of ’70s cinema, popular TV personality Connie Stevens showed up as a sexy cop in the classic exploitation setting of Scorchy (1976). She doesn’t just kick plenty of ass while chasing down a smuggling ring; Connie also stays dressed for sexcess and even handles some daring nude scenes. It was a shocking change of pace for the former star of The Kraft Music Hall.
