Originally titled The Killer Behind the Mask, this film chose to shorten its name by the time of its release, nearly three years after filming completion. It’s the story about a group of friends who leave the bustle of New York City to head upstate for a vacation, the main purpose of which is to see a boat being constructed. During their stay they get the eerie feeling that someone is watching them, and it turns out their suspicions are warranted. A murderer wearing a demented Halloween mask has been stalking them since they left.
